2 Nights on the train and 1 night in Hotel Sapa

At the attitude of 1650m, on the side of Hoang Lien Son range - facing the summit in Indochina. SaPa is the common hone of several minority tribes such as Black H’Mong, Red DZao, It is where you find the beauty of nature in valleys, mountains, streams, waterfalls and the warmly welcome of the ethnic people. Come to SaPa to enjoy the scenery and explore daily activities of the tribal people.

Night 1: Lotus Boutique Hotel staff escorts you to the railway station for boarding on a 4 – AC – soft sleeper – cabin to travel up Lao Cai city.

Day 1: Lao Cai – Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van villages

The train arrives at Lao Cai in the early morning, our driver or tour guide with the sign of your name will welcome you. You will be driven to Sa Pa in about 1 hour. Once you arrive, a morning shower will be offered and later on breakfast is served. The new day will be started with the visit to Lao Chai and Ta Van villages down in Muong Hoa valley. Enjoy the spectacular views of the beautiful valley towards Fansipan – the highest peak of Vietnam and Indochina.

Trek through the villages of Black H’mong ethnic minority to learn the way people weaving and embroidering their clothes, keep going down to enjoy colourful rice paddy fields and reach  Ta Van village where the Dzay ethnic people inhabited. Back to Sa Pa for lunch. In the afternoon, you are free to discover Sapa market or at your leisure, visit around the town (Dragon mount, Orchid garden…) Dinner and overnight in the hotel.
Night 2 : Overnight in Hotel in Sapa town

Day 2: Sapa – Cat Cat – Sin Chai (or Ta Phin  villages)

Enjoy the breakfast in the hotel then take a walk from Sapa towards Muong Hoa valley again to visit Cat Cat and Sin Chai villages. Trek through lush rice terraces towards villages, experience Black H’mong people’s daily life and traditional culture. Then back to Hotel. Lunch by your own arrangement. 

Optional: In the afternoon, take a drive to Ta Phin village (12km from Sapa) where the Red Dzao people live to learn more about the culture, custom and their daily life. Have a good choice of buying woven and textile brocades which are locally hand-made. Pay a visit to one of the local family to experience the true life of the Red Dzao. Then transfer to Lao Cai railway station for dinner and boarding a night train back to Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi
The train arrives at Hanoi in the early morning, Lotus Boutique Hotel staff will pick you up, and escort you back to the hotel (optional). Tour ends.
